As HST continues to lead the market in developing new ASC experiences and access to cutting-edge technology, we remain closely aligned with the philosophy of streamlining and enhancing our customer experience through a ‘single pane of glass.’

Keynote Speaker, Captain Tammie Jo Shults, gave an incredibly inspiring speech.
ASCA keynote speaker Captain Tammie Jo Shults, introduced by HST CEO, David Thawley, reminded ASCA attendees to “dream without fences” and “make a habit of giving hope to other people.” Her presentation was incredibly moving, drawing parallels between her experiences as a captain and those within an ASC. Both require unwavering courage and tenacity to maintain a level head while caring for the lives of others. We are so grateful she shared her story with us at ASCA.
Women Leaders – Transcending the Culture Norms in Healthcare
HST’s Chief Customer Officer, Tara Vail, moderated the general session “Women Leaders – Transcending the Culture Norms in Healthcare,” focusing on women in leadership positions in the ASC industry. With notable panelists from across the industry, women shared their guidance and insights, including “coming from a place of yes,” “matching your subspeciality with your lifestyle,” “acting with integrity,” and “being curious and courageous” as key takeaways. This in-depth discussion hit home with many attendees as the panel shared experiences that aren’t usually discussed, making women feel heard and understood while offering advice and wisdom as to how we can work together to overcome adversity and shared problems.
Using Technology to Improve the Patient Experience
HST’s Senior VP of Sales, Robert Marinich, spoke about “Using Technology to Improve the Patient Experience,” focusing on how technology has changed and improved the patient experience.
